The first inductee into the Greyhound Hall of Fame was in 1963. Only a handful of Greys have been added since then. It is a bit of a bragging right to have “Hall of Famers”
in your hound's pedigree, though most all modern hounds have at least one in
their background. If there are none, it does not make you hound any less of a
special dog. They have that quality just by virtue of being a Greyhound.
Your Hound’s Pedigree goes back five generations and is presented in a
vertical 8 ½ x 11” format. Hall of Fame inductees are noted, as are dogs born
outside the United States.
